Ready Player Earth

It is funny to me, we are so close to Ready Player One as we have VR (virtual reality), VRchat that’s like the Oasis, haptic suits, gloves, shoes that make you feel pain when something in the game hurts you and last but not the least omnidirectional VR treadmills to make any space VR ready.

Info on Ready Player One Within the movie/book, we follow the life of Wade Watts and their world. They have everything that I have stated above and so much more in the year 2045. But in the world it’s on the brink of collapse are they are overpopulated, not enough food going around, and many other things that aren’t shown in the movie or books.

The Fun As of writing this, it’s 2021 the year of COVID that started in March 2020. During the pandemic, all this stuff has been useful for a lot of people to keep on socializing, watch movies in a virtual theatre, go to a virtual Pub to meet new people, or jump into an online game and kill some zombies. All this can be done within VRchat. It has brought so many people from different countries together. Broke down the boundaries of race, religion, and gender to make a fun experience for everyone.

The Terrible, The Reality of Ready Player One could become real. Among the most pressing environmental issues that are silently aggravating the forces behind global warming, environmental pollution, habitat loss, the sixth mass extinction, a greater need for farming practices, and consumption of natural resources that have been finite at speed faster than their rate of regeneration. The depletion of Natural Resources continues to drop as the human population grows, which places stress on basic life-sustaining resources, leading us to a diminished quality of life. The same thing goes for other animals as they also rely on resources to live, but not just that as they are experiencing habitat loss, and it’s our fault.

With every year, we creep closer to the Reality of Ready Player One, the technology will become more evolved, we will become more dependent, and the world will suffer.

Do you have a stabilizer for your phone?

You might be an amateur photographer, the next upcoming YouTube celebrity, and or want to create a short film but can’t as many new content creators don’t have money for DSLR Cameras.

For an amateur photographer, a stabilizer could be the make-or-break of a photo because you have less motion blur in the photo. The stabilizer could help make any shot look remarkable. With the stabilizer and phone, you can get into smaller spaces where you can’t with the DSLR, and control any camera app you have without touching the camera.

Starting a YouTube channel. Most people only just have their phones and nothing else. But the thing is phones nowadays can do so much more than what they could perform five to ten years ago. All the modern phones can make DSLR cameras obsolete, so why not pair your phone with a stabilizer. Let’s think of a possible YouTube video. A festival but the footage is bouncing all over the place. You’re not in the frame. There’s a ton of motion blur and the phone is about to die and lose all the data. Well, that’s why a stabilizer in this situation, even on the rockiest train your footage will be smooth or close to it, be in the frame there might remain a little bit of motion blur but not a lot and most importantly some stabilizers come with a USB interface to charge the phone. The most known stabilizers DJI Osmo Mobile 3 and DJI Osmo Mobile 4 allow the user to connect a lavalier microphone to the phone without worry.

There are tons of people just making short films from their phones, and the reason for that is because DSLR cameras are becoming obsolete with the newest sensor technology. There are tons of phones out there that can do 4K 60 frames per second video recording as not a lot of DSLR cameras can do, those phones in addition include apps to develop the footage look a certain way. Making a short film with the stabilizer will make your DOP (Director of Photography) slightly happier.

Going back to DJI Osmo they provide an app that can allow multiple different things like Gestures & Selfies, Dolly Zoom, Active Tracking 3.0, Sport Mode, Panorama, Timelapse, and Slow Motion.

In conclusion, either if you’re an amateur Photographer, YouTube upcoming Star, or just a short film director. The stabilizer can help perform multiple things.

Ethernet cable and which ones to use?

It depends on what kind of Internet speed you currently have. If you don’t know your speed, call your provider and or use to find it out. There are a lot of different cables that you can use, you can use Cat5, Cat5E, Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7, Cat7A or Cat8.

Here’s some background information about these internet cables.
Cat5 is definitely out of date and do not recommend this kind of cable under any circumstances.

Cat5e, a consumer-level basic gigabyte cable that does have one drawback, the speed changes frequently.

Cat6, a consumer-level gigabyte cable that does not have the drawback that cat5e has and hypothetically supports 10 gig Ethernet only if the total length and loss are low enough. Can transfer slower network speeds under 1 gigabyte per second if the cable length is 328 ft., and gigabyte internet the cable length needs to be 180 ft. And as for the 10 gigs hypothetical speed, the cord has to be around 110 to 180 ft.

Cat6A, first cable to natively support 10-gig Ethernet. Cat6A is mostly used for high-speed data transferring over a long distance of 328 ft. for 10 gigabytes per second.

Cat7 & Cat7A both support 10gig Ethernet, have the ability of pair-sharing which makes it possible to use one cable to give power to multiple different devices at the same time, which will especially be capable if you want to use a network switch. To use the maximum transfer speed, the cable length should be 328 ft. for the 10-gig.

Cat8, the most powerful Ethernet cable right now, is most ideal for communication in data centres and server rooms where the 25 to 40 gigabytes per second. The cable is overpowered for home networks, as most networks don’t have any consumer-level 10 gig internet speed. Most of the time these cables are only 98 ft. in length (but of course will change, and become longer in the future).

What kind of cable do I use

The kind of cable I use is a mix of the cat6A and cat7 that work with two kinds of network switches.
The cat 7 cables are connected to the main computers and from my Wi-Fi extender to both of the network switches so I know that my computers are getting the full capability of the network speed. And all of the cat6a cables are used for other things like NAS units, smart TV, laptops, game consoles, and a spare desktop.

The MacBook is normally used for on-the-go small edits and or to continue a big edit but with proxies. The Mac laptop is not that powerful but can still be used for the basic needs as long as you pair with a good laptop external fan unit.
